TOAST, located in Flyford Flavell near Worcester, has officially opened the doors to its latest venture, The Deli @ Toast. Following a successful launch gathering, the new deli welcomed its first customers on Monday, 7th October.

Morgan Sanders, the venue’s director, shared her excitement: “There was no concrete plan for what the deli would look like, but what we’ve created is essentially a micro-shop of everything. I’ve always done things my way with TOAST, so we decided to give this a go—and it worked!”

TOAST, which already operates as a daytime restaurant and evening bar, has transformed its neighbouring space into the deli. Sanders explained, “It was an unused space since we moved the restaurant, and we were waiting for the right opportunity to do something with it. When I found Tamzin, I knew we were ready to bring the deli to life.”

Tamzin Richards will manage The Deli @ Toast as general manager. “We’ll be open from 7am offering breakfast baps and hot drinks. There’s nowhere else locally that provides a hot breakfast to go, so we’re filling that gap,” said Richards. “We’re really pleased with how everything has come together as a team.”

Sanders added, “It came down to the wire last week, but I’m so proud of the team. We’re super happy with how the deli turned out.”

The cosy, wood-panelled deli space features three areas: one dedicated to garden items, another showcasing soft furnishings and homewares, and a third offering local produce, meats, and condiments. The deli also serves grab-and-go coffee, cakes, and sandwiches.

Among the local products featured is Pimp Your Mayo, a seasoning brand created by Oscar George from Pershore. George, who is a regular at TOAST for breakfast, said, “There’s nothing like this in Pershore. It’s a beautiful space, and I’m excited to see Pimp Your Mayo on the shelves.”

TOAST’s new deli is set to become a hub for locals and visitors alike, combining great food, local products, and a welcoming atmosphere.
