From apple pressing with Status Quo to achieving listings in Michelin star restaurants. In this interview, Suzanne tells me all about the success of Radlow Hundred in their first year of selling wine.

Tell me a little bit about how you came to own or work in your business?

We were making cider with cider apples from our apple orchards under the Celtic Marches and Pulp Cider brands. Therefore, with the changing climate and the decline of the hop industry it seemed a natural progression to plant vines and make wine.

What achievements, awards or accolades are you proud of?

We have really only been selling the wine for the last year having planted our vines in 2020 and we have achieved listings in several Michelin Star restaurants, a listing in the Coop and a feature in Decanter magazine.

Any news announcements, or events that you’d like new and existing customers to be aware of?

Come and try our wines at the Secret Bottle Shop Event in November or order a few bottles for Christmas on line – delivery UK wide.

What makes your business unique?

There are a few Pinot Noir red wines produced in the UK but we produce a single variety Rondo Red which is very special and has been featured in Decanter magazine and is listed in the Coop.
