A Taste Of: South America at Saffrons Bistro, Worcester
September 26, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm BST£40
“A Taste Of…” is a chance to experience the drinking and culinary habits of regions around the world. For example, have you ever wondered how Italians eat and drink when they’re at home (and we’re not talking about pepperoni pizza and spaghetti bolognese)? Then look no further.
This time, “A Taste Of” takes us to South America. This diverse continent is producing consistently excellent wine that is taking the world by storm, and their culinary heritage is of course superb. On this tasting we will explore the impact of altitude, and the constant battle between big and bold, versus fresh and aromatic.
On this luxurious and educational evening, we will introduce you to 4 different wines (two white and two red). First learn about the region and each individual vineyard. Then taste these fantastic wines and learn a bit about how to analyse them. Finally, taste delicious, traditional South American dishes from the very same regions, and experience how they interact with the wines you are drinking.
Please note that we have changed the venue of this event.
From now on, “A Taste Of…” events will be held at Saffrons Bistro in Worcester. This is to allow us to cater for a wider audience in a location with better cooking facilities. The format of this event will remain exactly the same.
Allergies: Please let us know upon booking of any allergies and food intolerances that we should be aware of.
Please note that this tasting may include seafood & meat.
Max 28 places
