Friar Street Kitchen is a modern British restaurant located on Friar Street, one of Worcester’s most interesting medieval streets, and home to some of the most charming independent shops and restaurants the city has to offer.

With almost 20 years experience in the restaurant industry, Friar Street Kitchen’s owners, Kate and Matthew, are both from farming backgrounds and they offer a menu using locally sourced produce and ingredients. Knightwick Butchers, Worcester Produce, Peter Cooks Bread and Worcester Wines are amongst their list of quality, local suppliers.

Friar Street kitchen offers a relaxed and intimate bistro-style dining experience. Although the restaurant’s main focus is on steak and meat, they cater to all dietary requirements, offering interesting vegetarian and vegan menu choices, as well as Mediterranean style salads, gyros, a hot cheeseboard and so much more. If you have room you will want to take a look at their incredible homemade dessert list which includes weekly cheesecakes.

The restaurant is available for private hire and they offer outside bespoke catering packages and grazing tables for any event. Prices start from £20 per head.

Winter roast menu available on Sundays, October to March.

Monday to Tuesday: CLOSED

Lunch:
Wednesday to Friday: 12 pm – 2pm

Saturday: 12 pm – 3 pm

Dinner:
Wednesday to Friday: 6 pm – 9pm

Saturday: 6 pm  9:30 pm

Sunday: Winter roast sittings between 12 noon – 2:30 pm (October to March). Private hire only April to September.
