Peppers Cafe in Gloucester is located in Bull Lane, just off historic Westgate Street and between the Cathedral and the Docks.
Food at Peppers is locally sourced and sustainable wherever possible. The chef makes all of the hot specials, salads, fillings and quiches in the in-house kitchen. There is a wide selection of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options alongside a variety of meat items. Peppers believe to stock the widest range of non-standard cold drinks in the City. The coffee is their own blend of organic and fair trade beans and there is a good selection of teas. on offer. Peppers is fully licensed selling beers, ciders and wines from local producers.
Seating is available upstairs or in a secluded courtyard to the rear. Bikes can be securely accommodated and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the courtyard. Peppers is also a music venue, hosting gigs and Spoken Word on alternate Friday evenings. There is a significant amount of art on display, from rolling exhibitions to permanent ‘street art’ paintings.
